Year after year, United Way of Southeast Louisiana works to engage our community members in philanthropy, volunteerism and advocacy, all in an effort to support the health and human service needs of individuals within our seven-parish area.
And from September to April each year, our team of staff members and volunteer leaders run a community-wide fundraising campaign, to build excitement around our annual monetary goal and to ensure that each person in our region has the opportunity to create long-lasting change in our community through a financial contribution.
We are pleased to announce that once again, United Way of Southeast Louisiana has reached its annual fundraising goal of $14.6 million! We could not have achieved this aspirational goal without the support of more than 16,000 individuals and 550 organizations who contributed to this year’s effort.
In particular, we would like to recognize our Top 60 fundraising organizations, who align themselves with United Way’s mission and our vision of creating equitable communities where all individuals are healthy, educated and economically stable.
Your impact on those in our community is tremendous, and is greatly appreciated. When individuals can come together to reach a common goal, there is no limit to what can be achieved.
