Williamson’s Notes: See 100 Ways You Made a Difference

As we close the book on our centennial year, I’m filled with gratitude for the countless ways you’ve helped United Way of Southeast Louisiana make a difference. This year, we honored a century of service while looking boldly to the future, united by a shared commitment to strengthening our communities.

I, for one, do not take this moment for granted.  I understand the significance of this milestone and feel a rush of immense pride as I write this blog.  Recognizing that it is a challenge for an organization to survive the ever-changing world around us, I am humbled by the fact that our United Way is not just surviving; we are thriving and continue to push our peak of relevance to new heights. This has taken bold and courageous leadership at all levels within the organization.  But it shouldn’t surprise us. Our world class team can accomplish amazing things.

Together, we’ve expanded opportunities for families, connected individuals to life-changing resources, and built resilience across Southeast Louisiana. The images in this photo blog capture just a glimpse of the hope, impact, and joy we’ve created together in our 100th year. Each image tells a story of lives changed, neighbors helping neighbors, and a community United to build a brighter tomorrow – all because of you.

Thank you for being part of this incredible milestone. As we step into our next century, we’re inspired by all we’ve accomplished together and ready to create even greater change in the years ahead.

Let’s keep making a difference – one act of kindness, one neighbor, one community at a time – to prove that United is the Way to a stronger community for us all.

Enjoy this look back at 100 moments of impact from our picture-perfect Centennial.

Living United,
