We can finally answer the question. Yes, we "Got Gumbo" – at least everyone in attendance at our 20th annual “Got Gumbo?” Cook-off had their fill.
Thank you to the attendees, sponsors, judges, volunteers, and competitors who helped make this year’s event the most successful yet!
As always, the event is in good fun, but it supports a serious cause – United Way’s gumbo of services, which nurtures the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community we serve throughout our seven-parish service area.
We appreciate your support each year at this event and hope we can count on you year round as we fight to eradicate poverty in Southeast Louisiana.
Before we leave you, take a moment to peruse our photo album and catch up below on any of the winners you may have missed. And if you’re still full from last night, there’s good news… You have plenty of time to make room for all the gumbos in our 21st annual cook-off next year.
