A feature on a Louisiana Early Ed Week event hosted by United Way of Southeast Louisiana, Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and Jefferson Business Council earlier this month will be broadcast on television through the Louisiana Hometown Network beginning March 4.
The package includes interviews with state legislators, business leaders, and community supporters in attendance to highlight the need to expand access to high-quality, affordable early care and education in Louisiana. A list of participating stations and air times is available here.
The event at Beary Cherry Tree in Metairie was one of series of events statewide, hosted by members of the Louisiana Association of United Ways, UWSELA and chambers of commerce, to show what high-quality early education looks like and underscore the importance of ensuring all Louisiana children are set up for a successful education and career.
