ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – New Orleans East (Part Time)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9am – to 3pm, with a one-hour lunch break The pay rate is $19.00 per hour
United Way of Southeast Louisiana is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant for our Education and Youth Initiatives program. This position works with the Sr. VP and Program Manager to provide comprehensive administrative, organizational, and data support to UWSELA’s Education Impact Area, ensuring efficient operations, accurate records, and timely execution of initiatives. The role involves handling day-to-day administrative tasks, supporting special projects, and ensuring seamless coordination across Education-focused initiatives, including the New Orleans Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, Inspired Up, and the Community Impact Grant process. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient workflows, managing communications, and providing logistical and operational support for collaborations, funding processes, and administrative functions for the Senior Vice President, Education. An Associate’s degree in business administration, education, nonprofit management, or a related field is preferred with 5-7 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in a nonprofit or education setting.
