2024 - 2027 Collaborative Partners

 

LA Voz Conecta

  • Parishes Served: Jefferson Parish, Orleans Parish, Plaquemines Parish, St. Bernard Parish
  • Outcome Focus: Personal Wellness, Vibrant Communities, Stability Today     
  • Type of Grant: Implementation

Utilizing "LA Voz Connecta Whats App" to connect Spanish speakers to vital community resources & media campaign.

 

NHC Cornerstone Implementation Council   

  • Parishes Served: Tangipahoa Parish, Washington Parish    
  • Outcome Focus: Stability Today    
  • Type of Grant: Implementation    

Funding to support the working groups to provide shelter for homeless in Tangipahoa Parish by rennovating an old hotel into a homeless shelter inclusive of homeless services.  Funding has been secured for the rennovations, however they are in dispute with their neighbor on the ownership of the access road to the hotel.  Funding Condition: Contingent on if the blockade issue can be cleared.

 

Washington Parish Equitable Food Access Collaborative

A network of 8 food pantries, food hubs, and mobile pantries across Washington Parish in rural areas of the parish addressing the barrier to food access. 

 

Jefferson Parish Family Preservation Collaborative

  • Type of Grant: Implementation    

Development of a new system of care for children and families under DCFS supervision.  The collaborative has developed a multi-disciplinary treatment court in June 2021 that ensures DCFS, JPJC, JPHSA, and CASA are no longer working in silos in the Jefferson Parish Family Preservation Court. 

 

New Orleans Early Childhood Parent Leadership Collaborative

Parent lead collaborative that consist of parents and children, early childhood education providers and stakeholders by providing parents the voice, data, partnerships and power to actively engage in their child's education by the creation of a set of standards, protocols and accountability standards for businesses, educational institutions and workplaces to better serve their families. 

                
CYPB Youth Master Plan: Ongoing Implementation + Continuous Strategic Improvements

  • Type of Grant: Infrastructure – Backbone    

On-going implementation of the 10-year Youth Master Plan for New Orleans.  Capacity building of the backbone organization to increase awareness, engagement and access to resources for the collaborative.

 

YouthForce NOLA: Cross-Organizational Learning by Implementing a Shared Measurement System

An education, business, and civic collaborative that increases economic equity by helping young people of color who attend Orleans Parish public schools prepare for & gain employment in industries with good wages and growth opportunities. 

 

Split Second Cares Health Pipeline Collaborative: Strengthening Comprehensive Disability Services in Louisiana

  • Type of Grant: Planning    

Develop a steering team of collaborative partners to raise awareness about the challenges faced by the disabled community, advocate for increased support, and enhance service coordination, with the ultimate goal of alleviating poverty among individuals with disabilities in this region.
