About the Atmos Energy Bill Assistance Program
At United Way of Southeast Louisiana, we are committed to helping our community thrive, and we understand the challenges many households face. If you are an Atmos customer living in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington Parishes with a household income at or below $45,000, you can qualify for up to $250 of assistance for your gas bill.
You may qualify to receive assistance of up to $250 if:
- You are a current Atmos Energy customer
- You reside in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa or Washington Parish
- Have a household income at or below $45,000
What you need in hand to apply if you qualify:
- Proof of past due bill - MUST be in the applicant's name
- Proof of Income
- 2024 Tax Return & W-2 forms
- Current Atmos Energy utility bill
